Our journey began with a simple yet profound observation at the tip. We were horrified to see people throwing away perfectly functional furniture. Turns out, 672,000 tonnes of furniture (22 million pieces) are discarded each year in the UK alone, while only 17% is recycled. This wasteful cycle is fueled by the overproduction of low-quality, short-lived items made from chipboard and plastic, causing significant environmental harm.

In 2024 we started Maisterie Studio to share with the world the furniture as it should be: built to last and designed to be timeless and delightful. We carefully consider every angle and curve to ensure optimal comfort and functionality. Each piece is handcrafted in England using responsibly sourced, prime-grade hardwood. We pour our heart and soul into every stage of the process, from selection of the wood to the last polish, ensuring that the final product is nothing short of exceptional.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our products. We partner with the National Trust’s Plant a Tree Appeal, ensuring that for every tree we use – three more are planted. In addition, our convenient furniture removal service helps divert unwanted items from landfills, giving them a new life through local charity stores.
